As for the follower I don't think they can cause that bug, but it is a possibulity, me the only follower I usually have IS the person I end up marrying so personly I never really had a follow while the wedding was being held, so I am sorry to say I am not sure, but it is worth messing around with. removing the unofficial patch caused skyrim to crash before the title screen. Let me know how that worked and I am sorry if this is a time consuming step.
I am not going to say this will definitly fix it and those are the problems, but since I expearienced AI problems when I used them my self I am suggesting to just do this to check if it is one of your other mods. Next after trying this and if you have not gotton any changes from Mjoll and you still have the same problem, try and disable the emmersive citizens mod and check for the same thing. Here is what I am going to suggest as a trouble shooting step, first disable the unofficial patch mod so that it will not effect the game and tell me if that fixed it.
